We made history as the first British ROBLOX bus operator to design and introduce the Enviro 200mmc XLB into service. On top of that, we imported a tri-axle MCV EvoSeti into the United Kingdom, specifically for operations on Yapton V3 during 2022–2023. Both of these iconic vehicles remain in service and are available for you to drive on Yapton & District, showcasing our commitment to offering something truly special to our community.

Our History

Below is the history of South West Buses taking you all the way back to 2019 before we were even known as South West Buses

2019

This marks the year where the origins of South West Buses began. Previously South West Buses was known as "Stagecoach South West" on a game we created ourselves called "Ashfield". During this year we also confirmed operations on games such as Winfield.

2020

2020 Marks one of our best years on record where we first gained our major operations as Stagecoach South West as well as assisting in the creation of Showbus ran by Cat now more known as "Lumidee". During this we mostly helped with development and shuttle services. Despite the event not being a HUGE success it was still enjoyable nonetheless.

Later that year we made the decision to sell Stagecoach South West and formed South West Buses which was heavily based off of the previous group Stagecoach South West with all the same staff and mostly the same vehicles.

Not long after forming South West Buses we gained operations on "Bradley's" now known as "Ashley's" game "The South Hams" this was our first major based of operations where South West Buses gained most of its members and buses.

2021

This marks yet again another great year for South West Buses with many amazing partnerships and more. This was the year where we fully partnered up with Nottingham City Transport owned by "Lumidee" where we worked closely on multiple games (that never released lol) as well as one or two that actually did see the light of day such as the remastered version of "Ashfield & District" originally a game for Stagecoach South West.

During the year of 2021 we also confirmed operations on Southgate which was sadly sold off not to long after. Although short lived these operations were amongst some of our best.

2022

This is by far the BEST year for South West Buses as a group. This is when we confirmed operations on "Yapton & District V3" with massive thanks to Lumidee aka Cat for helping secure these operations.

This is also the year our very well known Enviro 200MMC XLB & MCV EvoSeti was entered into service and/or refurbed for use on Yapton.

2022 Also marks the year Ashire Traction was formed (now known as South West Group) which was the parenting company of South West Buses and Nottingham City Buses by Cat aka Lumidee this was formed as group owned by myself and Cat and later down the road operators such as Irving Coaches joined the Ashire Traction Family for a limited time.

Sadly this year also saw the separation of South West Buses & Nottingham City Transport where both groups went there separate ways going on to do there own things within the bus community.

2023

Nothing major happened during the 2023 season for South West Buses. We mostly kept to ourselves and focussed primarily on our Yapton operations and assisting with UI and script creation for the game and helping out when and wherever we could.

Some things to note though are things such as our success rates during the 2023 season as this was the year our group sky rocketed in group and server members which we are forever thankful for

2024

2024 has been a roller coaster of a ride so far with many major changes such as rebrands, staff changes and many more changes here and there.

Sadly this also meant we lost many great people but this also made way for us to further expand and improve our operations. Although at the time this seemed like a bad thing it has proven to be one of the best things we could've asked for.
